for the answer, but I'm pretty sure the problem is comming from one of the mods. So unless the developers are willing to make those changes, achieving consistent 60+ fps is not to be expected. ![]() The latest Unity Engine the game currently runs on now, supports the Vulkan API, however It's not easy to recode things to use a different API like Vulkan. When the game came out 2 years ago, the developers coded the engine to use DX11, thus resulting in poor hardware optimization. That's where better API's like DX12 or more specifically Vulkan can change things, and are much more optimized to fully take advantage of cpu and gpu hardware. See below video for a better explanation.īasically, there is a performance bottleneck limitation due to the Unity Engine programmed to utilize the DX11 API that isn't very cpu and gpu optimized to fully take advantage of a hardware's capability. So even having a fast gpu will only help to a point. For example, the difference between an Nvidia 1060 vs 1080ti, you'll see only like an extra 1 fps difference. Also, the 8GB RAM may not be enough to handle the amount or type of mods being used, so adding more memory like 16GB would help. ![]() ![]() :The i7-7700 "HQ" version in laptops are lower clocked mobile cpu's slower than the desktop version, so it will have reduced performance.
